Welcome to Transitional Living Centers, Inc. At the Transitional Living Centers, women who are about to be released from prison find an atmosphere that can help them reconnect with the community. Located in Lycoming County, our facilities provide residential living for up to 20 women.
The Transitional Living Center is a community corrections facility that emphasizes connection to the community. The women in our program are still serving the remaining parts of their sentences. It’s our mission to provide a supportive community that enables incarcerated women to make a positive and productive transition back into the society.
The Transitional Living Center was started as a nonprofit corporation in 1987. We’ve grown from an initial population of five women. Our professional staff provides support and services 24 hours a day.
Although regional in scope- the women at our facility come from all over north central Pennsylvania – TLC gives preference to local women
